Membership of the Institute
After you have played bridge here on 6 occasions you must become a member of the Ansdell Institute and Social Club.   This means completing their application form and handing it in to the Steward on duty with the relevant fee.
Membership of the Bridge Club

You must be a member of the Institute to apply for Bridge Club Membership. Then you must complete a Bridge Club application form which you mushave signed by a proposer and seconder who are existing members of Clifton Bridge Club.  You hand the form to the Tournament Director who will pass it on to the Membership Secretary. If you are a graduate from the Beginners' Class you will have passed the playing ability criteria for joining our Club, if not, you will need to get your playing ability assessed by ay least 3 different people....usually Committee Members. Your form will  be posted on the notice board for a month and will be reviewed by the Committee .    Once it has been approved you will pay the appropriate fee to the Bridge Club.

Membership Renewal
Annual Membership fees should be renewed on January 1st each year for both the Institute and The Bridge Club....if they are not renewed by January 31st you may be required to re-apply for membership.
